draco dormiens nunquam titillandus

Welsh words will not make
an acceptable haiku
but they have dragons!

The language of Wales makes for better haiku, by far, than the language of whales. Not a lot of syllables in the latter.

Man, I wish I spoke whale.

I wish I spoke whale, too. And had a dragon.

Welsh heard live is kind of an auditory insult. I think you could probably complete an entire haiku with four well-chosen Welsh words and a couple hyphens.

Not to be a downer or anything, but you guys brought up whales and I watched that movie The Cove last night and it made me cry! I bet if we had real dragons the Japanese would try to eat them, too.
