What's not to like? Custard, good. Jam, good. Meat, good!

AbsI have something controversial to say:

Meat and pizza should never go together.

Seriously: pizza loaded with tons of tomato sauce, olives, peppers, onions, mushrooms is the best. It doesn't need meat. And meat certainly doesn't need it. Please keep your pepperoni and sausage to yourself. And also all those other words that are just fancy words for sausage.

(And while we're at it: mac and cheese should always be vegetarian.)

I'm with Abigail.

When I was in grad school, I was in a three-person group for a project and we were trying to order a pizza and I said, "I don't really like meat on pizza" and another guy in the group said, "I don't really like vegetables on pizza" and we were all set to settle on plain cheese when the third guy says, "I don't like just cheese on pizzas." So we ended up doing a couple of pizzas with different fractions of toppings on them. Argh.

Wait, who doesn't like cheese on pizza?

I like pepperoni but I don't really like sausage on pizza. And I hate any kind of meat lovers pizza because that is just too much meat. Hee.

I will eat anything on my pizza except sardines, but my favorite is just cheese, heavy on the grease. Dripping down your chin.

Abigail, you are not serious: people put meat and other abominations in mac & cheese?! Aaack! It ceases to be mac & cheese at that very moment, so they'll have to call it something else. I'm horrified now. Must go recover.

To be fully transparent: no, I have not had bacon in my mac & cheese. But I theorize that bacon is not really meat, so it doesn't count. Plus, bacon is good everywhere... so I'm sure there's a bacon exception to the "Thou Shalt Not Defile Mac & Cheese" commandment.
