Series of tubes.*

One of the greatest developments in Internets technology introduced since the last time I shared my Reader Shared Items is the ability to share one's Shared Items with a select group of "Friends," and as my select group of "Friends" is very small the number of my Shared Items is large. Here's a not-so-random five that do not betray my love of The Jonas Brothers, chipmunks, or pornography.

1. DIS PIZZA from the greatest website of this--or any--generation, I Can Has Cheezburger?.

Like all eight-year-old children and twenty-something slacker bachelors I am obsessed with pizza. In fact, I'm pretty sure my Facebook status message was "Kat really wants some pizza, like, IMMEDIATELY" for a solid three months. Pizzas are relevant to my interests.

2. Hamlet (Facebook News Feed Edition) from McSweeney's.

Speaking of Facebook, this made me giggle for two weeks straight. Apparently I am a fourteen-year-old girl.

3. Height by xkcd.

Just in case you haven't figured out by now that I am a giant nerd. Well, I'm only 5'3 so I guess I'm not really a giant, but you get the point. I love this.

4. All I Really Need to Know I Learned from Clarissa Explains It All at Jezebel.

I feel as though I share an inordinate amount of content from Jezebel, and this post especially explains it all. Well, probably not all; it's Jezebel, not Clarissa.

5. Is Obama President?.

I take it back; this is the greatest website of our generation.

*One of my very best friends in the whole wide world lost her job yesterday because of the stupid economy. Won't you please stop by and cheer her up?
